Roshan (music Director)
Roshan Lal Nagrath (14 July 1917 – 16 November 1967), known mononymously as Roshan, was an Indian esraj player and music director. He was the father of actor and film director Rakesh Roshan and music director Rajesh Roshan and paternal grandfather of Hrithik Roshan. Early life and education Roshan was born on 14 July 1917 in Gujranwala in the Punjab Province (British India), Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan) into a Punjabis, Punjabi Saraswat Brahmin family. He began music lessons at a young age and later attended Bhatkhande Music Institute, Marris College in Lucknow, United Provinces of Agra and Oudh under the training of Pandit S N Ratanjankar (principal of the institute). Roshan became an accomplished sarod player under the guidance of Allauddin Khan, the renowned sarod player from Maihar. Afghan Premier League
The Afghan Premier League, also known as Rahmani Foundation Afghan Premier League for sponsorship reasons, was a professional men's association football, football league run by the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF). It was the country's primary competition for the sport. The league was contested by eight teams. The competition commenced in September 2012. Seasons usually ran from September to October followed by a finals series involving the top two highest-placed teams in each of the two tables of four teams. The national champion gained qualification into the continental competition. Most games were played at the Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium in Kabul. Rushani Language
Rushani is one of the Pamir languages spoken in Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Rushani is relatively closer to all Northern Pamiri languages sub-group whether it is Shughni, Yazgulami, Sarikuli or Oroshori sharing many grammatical and vocabulary similarity with all of them especially with Shughni and thus some linguists consider it a dialect of Shughni. Rushan is divided into two parts by Panj river where on right bank along Bartang river to the East located Rushan district of GBAO, Tajikistan and on the left side located several villages of Roshan area in northern part of the Sheghnan District, in the Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in Tajikistan. Roshan (, ) is a telecommunications development company located in Afghanistan. History Roshan was founded by Kari Khoja in 2002. In 2012, Roshan became the first and only company in Afghanistan to achieve B Corporation certification, awarded by B Lab. In October 2017, in cooperation with the Wikimedia Foundation, Roshan provided customers free access to Wikipedia and its sister projects without incurring data charges. The cooperation was part of the Wikipedia Zero project, which the Wikimedia Foundation discontinued in February 2018. The agreement with Roshan expired on December 15, 2018. Roshan Singh
Thakur Roshan Singh (22 January 1892 – 19 December 1927) was an Indian revolutionary, born in the village of Nabada in Shahjahanpur district of United Provinces (Uttar Pradesh) in a Rajput family, who was sentenced in the Bareilly shooting case during the Non-Cooperation Movement of 1921–22. After release from Bareilly Central Jail, he joined the Hindustan Republican Association in 1924. Although he had not taken part in the Kakori conspiracy of August 1925, he was arrested and tried in January 1926 by the then British Government, for a murder carried out during the Bamrauli dacoity in December 1924. He was sentenced to death, along with Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan and Rajendra Lahiri. He was executed at Allahabad Jail on 19 December 1927. Roshan Seth (born 2 April 1942) is a British-Indian actor, writer and theatre director who has worked in the United Kingdom, United States and India.
