Roshan Alam (born 20 April 1995) is an Indian cricketer who plays first-class cricket for Assam. Alam made his first-class debut for Assam on 17 November 2011 in the 2011-12 Ranji Trophy against Hyderabad in Guwahati. He made his List A debut on 25 September 2019, for Assam in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Golaghat District
Golaghat district (Pron:ˌgəʊləˈgɑ:t) is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. It attained district status in 1987. The district headquarters are located at Golaghat. The district occupies an and lies above sea level. Etymology The name 'Golaghat' originated from the markets established by a business class of people called Marwari during the middle of 19th century at the bank of the river Dhansiri in the vicinity of the district headquarters. 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 18th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It took place in September and October 2019, after the Duleep Trophy and before the Ranji Trophy. Chandigarh competed in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time. Mumbai were the defending champions. Seventeen out of the first thirty matches that were scheduled to be played across all four groups were abandoned or finished in a no result. 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was the twelfth edition of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a Twenty20 competition in India. It took place between 8 November and 1 December 2019. Karnataka were the defending champions. The tournament retained the same format as the previous edition of the competition. The tournament had five groups, with two groups containing seven teams and three groups with eight teams. The top two teams in each group qualified for the Super League section of the tournament, with the teams then split into two further groups of five teams. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the county cricket, inter-county competition. Hyderabad Cricket Team
The Hyderabad cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, run by the Hyderabad Cricket Association. It is part of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group and has seen scattered success over its many years in the Ranji Trophy circuit. Over its long history in the Ranji Trophy it has won twice and come runner up three times and has made one appearance in the Irani Trophy.
