Craig Rosevear
Craig Gary Rosevear is an Australian drummer, auctioneer and TV presenter from Newcastle. He joined hard rock group The Screaming Jets from 1993 to 2001. In 2005 Rosevear with his wife Belinda set up a music school Rosies's School of Rock in Newcastle focusing on performance & band coaching for kids. His portrait, ''Rock and role model'' by Peter Sesselmann, was entered for the 2009 Archibald Prize. In 2017 Rosevear won the Newcastle Heat of the Real Estate Institute of NSW Auctioneering Competition and is the host of lifestyle program Location Living Lifestyle on Network Nine. Donovan Reginald Rosevear (born in Chelsea and died https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/0572a37b-5d8f-4b31-bc83-cf2b348b4de0) was a British forester and mammalogist. Biography After completing his education at Bedford, Rosevear graduated in 1923 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Diploma in Forestry from Christ's College, University of Cambridge. In 1924 he moved to Nigeria, where he joined the Colonial Forest Service. For the first 20 years of his career, Rosevear worked in the south-eastern provinces of Nigeria and the British Cameroons. In addition to his profession, Rosevear was a keen observer of nature, studying the fauna and flora of West Africa. Rosevear was an active supporter of the Nigerian Field Society (NFS), founded in 1930 by Frank Bridges. The Vice Rags
The Vice Rags are an American rock band from New Jersey. History The Vice Rags were formed in 2017 by born-and-raised New Jersey musicians, Paul Rosevear and Joe Chyb, from North Brunswick, New Jersey, and Jack Roberts and Gay Elvis from Hillsborough, New Jersey. They met while performing in prior bands in the New Jersey independent rock scene, and together they play a blend of "tribute to the '50s and '60s sounds that influenced the '70s and '80s," and are classified as bluesy, garage rock and fuzz rock. They released a self-titled EP in November 2017, which was produced by Paul Ritchie and recorded at Insidious Sound Studio in Neptune. Sol Rosevear
John Solomon "Sol" Rosevear (4 January 189221 March 1953) was an Australian politician. He was Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives from 1943 to 1950. He was a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and represented the seat of Dalley in the House of Representatives from 1931 until his death in 1953. He was associated with the Lang Labor faction until the early 1940s. Prior to entering parliament he was a timber worker and trade unionist. Early life Rosevear was born on 4 January 1892 in Pyrmont, Sydney, New South Wales. He was the seventh child of Maria (née McGuirk) and William John Rosevear. His father was a carter. Rosevear attended the local public school before beginning work in the timber industry, where he became known as a skilled tradesman.
