Rosaura Andreu
Rosaura Andreu (1 January 1918 – 21 November 2010) was an actress born in El Paso, Texas to actress Cecilia Cavero. Andreu is best remembered in Puerto Rico for playing the character "Titi Chagua" in a local television show for children. Cecilia Cavero moved with her children to Havana, where Rosaura Andreu met her first husband: the famous Cuban comedian Leopoldo Fernández (Tres Patines), Leopoldo Fernandez, nicknamed "Tres Patines." Andreu first visited Puerto Rico as part of a Cuban theatrical troupe. Years later she settled on the island and joined the group La farandula bohemia. In the 1950s, Andreu was part of the early years of Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican television. She became known to the children television viewers in such programs as Romper Room, Romper Room con Berta and others. Uncle Nobel
Nobel Vega (August 21, 1931 – August 7, 2023), better known as Tio Nobel or Uncle Nobel, was a Cuban actor and children's television personality. Vega is mostly remembered for his character as a boat captain who appeared on Puerto Rico's WKAQ-TV's "El Show del Tio Nobel" ("Uncle Nobel's Show"), a daily children's game show he hosted in which children played for prizes, usually Mattel branded toys. His show competed with Spaniard Pacheco's "Cine Recreo", shown on WAPA-TV, Telemundo Puerto Rico's rival television station.
