Rosario Central
Club Atlético Rosario Central (), more commonly referred to as Rosario Central, or simply Central, is a sports club based in Rosario, Argentina, that plays in the Argentine Primera División. The club was officially founded on 24 December 1889, by a group of British railway workers, taking its name from the British-owned Central Argentine Railway company. One of the oldest Argentine and Latin American teams, it is considered a pioneer in its hometown and the only one of current Santa Fe province teams to have won an international title organised by CONMEBOL, the Copa Conmebol, won by the club in 1995 Copa CONMEBOL, 1995. Originally a member of the Rosario's Football Association, the club affiliated itself to the Argentine Football Association (AFA) in 1939. Estadio Gigante De Arroyito
The Estadio Gigante de Arroyito () is a stadium in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Rosario, Argentina. It is owned by club Rosario Central, serving as home venue for association football, football matches. The Argentina national football team has played there several times. The stadium was named after the Arroyito neighborhood where it is placed. Officially inaugurated on November 14, 1926, the stadium has a capacity of 46,955 spectators. John Henry Hayes (, 20 January 1891 – 25 July 1976, mostly known as Harry Hayes) was an Argentine footballer, who played his entire career for Rosario Central (where he spent 20 years). Hayes also played for the Argentina national team.
