Rosanna Chichester
Rosanna Chichester (born 1989) is a Virgin Islander dancer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2013 and represented British Virgin Islands at Miss World 2014. Early life Rosanna is the First Caribbean International Bank employee. She is also a Dance Teacher at the New Testament Church of God. She is also a volunteer for the Family Support Network and the BVI Cancer Society. Pageantry Miss British Virgin Islands 2013 Rosanna Chichester was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2013 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town on 4 August. Miss Chichester blew away the audience and obviously the judges and walked away with nearly all of the individual prizes including for Miss Poise, Miss Popularity, Best BVI Promotion, Best Swim Wear, Best Cultural Costume, Best Evening Wear and Miss Intellect. Miss British Virgin Islands
The Miss British Virgin Islands is a national beauty pageant in British Virgin Islands. The pageant was founded in 1976, where the winners were sent to Miss Universe. History The Miss British Virgin Islands was held for the first time in 1975 by BVI Tourism, and Irene Penn-O’Neal won the first titleholder in that year. Before the pageant formed into the British Virgin Islands, the BVI Miss Festival contest existed in the territory. Since 1976 the British Virgin Islands licensed the Miss Universe pageant and became an official organization in the territory for Miss Universe under the Ministry of Tourism in the British Virgin Islands. Miss World 2014, the 64th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 14 December 2014 at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom. 121 contestants competed for the crown. Megan Young of the Philippines crowned her successor Rolene Strauss of South Africa at the end of the event. This is the second time that South Africa has won the title outright and the third time they have held the title. Sharie De Castro (born 31 December 1991) is a Virgin Islander beauty pageant titleholder and politician. She was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2012 and represented the British Virgin Islands in the 2013 Miss Universe pageant. She is an At-large representative for the House of Assembly of the British Virgin Islands, a position that she has held since the 2019 general election.
