Rory Sutherland (cyclist)
Rory Sutherland (born 8 February 1982) is an Australian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2005 and 2020, for the , , , , and teams. After retiring, Sutherland became the Elite Road Coordinator for the Australian cycling team. Career Born in Canberra, Australia, Sutherland began racing competitively at the age of 14, and rode in Europe with and from 2001 to 2005. He tested positive for Clomiphene, which according to some medical experts is not a performance-enhancing drug although it is on the World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) banned substance list. In 2006 Sutherland was given a 9-month conditional suspension by the Belgian Cycling Federation, with whom he holds a racing licence. He was named in the start list for the 2015 Vuelta a España. In 2007, he won stages 2 and 3 of the Redlands Bicycle Classic, and also finished 2nd in the Australian National Time Trial Championships. Tour De Beauce
Tour de Beauce is a men's elite professional road bicycle racing multi-day event held each June in the Beauce region of Quebec, Canada since 1986. It is the oldest stage-race in North America, and is a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI)-rated 2.2 continental circuit stage race on the UCI America Tour. The Queen Stage of the Tour de Beauce features the ascension of the iconic Mont-Mégantic National Park, a 6-km climb averaging 10% and peaking at 18% on the highest elevation road in the Province of Quebec. The race has five stages, including two half-stages, one of which is usually held in Quebec City. Quebec has hosted a stage of the Tour de Beauce for 25 consecutive years. Olympia's Tour
The Olympia's Tour is a cycling stage race held in the Netherlands. History A.S.C. Olympia was founded in Amsterdam on 27 November 1898. It ran one-day races but wanted a race through all the Netherlands. The first Olympia's Tour was in 1909, with three stages and one rest day. The second in 1910 went to Maastricht and Groningen. It was 17 years before the third race, partly because races on public roads were forbidden in the Netherlands during the First World War. An international field with 16 Germans, the champions of Switzerland and Luxembourg and around 40 Dutch riders left the Rembrandtplein on 17 August 1927. The Dutch were mainly amateurs, the Germans sponsored riders who rode for bicycle manufacturers such as Opel and Diamant which provided material and a support team.
