Ronny Hafsås
Ronny André Hafsås (born November 14, 1985) is a retired Norwegian biathlete and cross-country skier. Biathlon career Hafsås first competed in the Biathlon World Cup in Pyeongchang, South Korea in February 2008. His initial appearance (in a 10 km sprint) was spoiled by bad shooting, but he earned the first World Cup points of his career in the pursuit that followed, with a 21st place. Hafsås claimed his first top ten placing in the World Cup the next week, placing ninth in another sprint in Khanty-Mansiysk. Hafsås' best finish in the Biathlon World Cup so far is a sixth place, which he earned (again in a sprint) during the opening weekend of the 2008-09 season at Östersund. Stårheim
Stårheim (or ''Torvika'') is a village in the municipality of Stad in Vestland county, Norway. Stårheim is located in the central part of Stad Municipality on the north shore of the Nordfjorden, about west of the municipal center of Nordfjordeid and about east of the village of Kjølsdalen. There is a regularly scheduled ferry route from Stårheim to the small village of Isane (in Bremanger Municipality), located about south across the Nordfjorden. Petter Northug
Petter Northug Jr. (born 6 January 1986) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier and double Olympic champion. He won a total of 13 World Championship and two Winter Olympic gold medals with 20 medals overall (two gold, one silver and one bronze at the Olympics, 13 gold and three silver at the World Ski Championships), and 18 individual FIS Cross-Country World Cup wins with 13 podium places. He is also the record holder for most stage wins (13) in Tour de Ski. By winning his ninth gold medal in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 4 × 10 km relay in Val di Fiemme 2013 he leveled the achievement of Bjørn Dæhlie who had been the most successful World Champion male skier up to that point. René Sommerfeldt (born 2 October 1974 in Zittau) is a German cross-country skier who competed from 1994 to 2010. He won two medals in the 4 × 10 km relays at the Winter Olympics with a silver in 2006 and a bronze in 2002. Sommerfeldt's best individual Olympic finish was 12th in the 15 km event in 2006. Alexander Gennadiyevich Legkov (russian: Алекса́ндр Геннáдьевич Легков; born 7 May 1983) is a retired Russian cross-country skier who competed internationally between 2002 and 2017. He has five individual World Cup victories including one Tour de Ski title, as well as gold and silver medals at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Vincent Vittoz (born 17 July 1975 in Annecy, Haute-Savoie) is a French former cross-country skier, non-commissioned officer and coach. He grew up in the town of La Clusaz in the Northern French Alps and has been competing since 1982. He made his FIS Cross-Country World Cup debut in January 1996 in Nové Město na Moravě, finishing 22nd in a 15 km classical race. He won a gold medal in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit at the 2005 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf. As of 2018 Vittoz is the only French cross-country skiing world champion. Beitostølen is a village in Øystre Slidre Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway.
