Ronnie Harris (American Football)
Ronnie Harris (born June 4, 1970) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, and Atlanta Falcons. He played college football for the Oregon Ducks. Although he was best known for his play on special teams, Harris made a key 29 yard catch in the Falcons upset victory in the 1999 NFC Championship over the Minnesota Vikings. Ronnie still wears his NFC championship ring daily as of 2024. Since retiring from football, Ronnie has worked for Pfizer pharmaceuticals in primary care, Cardiovascular Specialty and Pain Management. Additionally Ronnie has earned a Masters of Arts in Ministry and Leadership from Western Seminary in Portland Oregon and worked in various churches as a youth pastor, associate pastor and campus pastor. A wide receiver (WR), also referred to as a wideout, and historically known as a split end (SE) or flanker (FL), is an eligible receiver in gridiron football. Granada Hills is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. The community has a sports program and a range of city recreation centers. The neighborhood has fourteen public and ten private schools. History The Granada Hills area is situated on the traditional homelands of the Tongva and Chumash. The Tongva village of Ceegenga may have been the closest village located to the Granada Hills area.
