Latisana (, locally ) is a town and (municipality) in the Province of Udine, Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, north-eastern Italy, on the Tagliamento river. History The city was probably a Roman post station (''Mansio Apicilia'') on the Via Annia which connected Concordia Sagittaria, Concordia to Aquileia.
