Ronald L. Holt
Ronald L. Holt (born 1949) is a professor of anthropology at Weber State University who in 1992 was the Democratic candidate for Utah's 1st congressional district. He was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship for Belarus in 2004. In 2008 he was the lead social scientist on an Army ( 101st 4th Brigade) Human Terrain Team in Afghanistan. In 2010–12 he was the Culture and Foreign Language Advisor on the staff of the commanding general at the Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning, GA. In August 2012 he returned to his tenured position in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Holt wrote a dissertation titled ''Beneath These Red Cliffs: An Ethnohistory of the Utah Paiutes''. It was subsequently published in 1992. Archives West
Archives West is an online catalog of descriptive information about the archival collections at various institutions in the western United States (Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Alaska, Utah and Washington). It was established in 2005, and is a program offering of the Orbis Cascade Alliance. From 2005 to 2015, the site was known as Northwest Digital Archives (NWDA); the name changed as part of a substantial redesign to better describe the site's content and scope. Ethnohistory
Ethnohistory is the study of cultures and indigenous peoples customs by examining historical records as well as other sources of information on their lives and history. It is also the study of the history of various ethnic groups that may or may not still exist. The term is most commonly used in writing about the history of the Americas. Southern Utah University (SUU) is a public university in Cedar City, Utah, United States. Honours Degree
Honours degree has various meanings in the context of different degrees and education systems.
