Ronald Kirklin
Brigadier General Ronald Kirklin is a retired general officer in the United States Army. Kirklin was the 53rd Quartermaster General and Commandant of the Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia from 2014 to 2016. Military education Kirklin, a native of Lexington, Mississippi, graduated from Mississippi Valley State University as a Distinguished Military Graduate. He holds a master's degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University and a master's degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. His military education includes the Quartermaster Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Command and General Staff College, and the United States Army War College. 4th Infantry Division (United States)
The 4th Infantry Division is a Division (military), division of the United States Army based at Fort Carson, Colorado. It is composed of a division headquarters battalion, three brigade combat teams (two Stryker and one armor), a combat aviation brigade, a division sustainment brigade, and a division artillery. The 4th Infantry Division's official nickname, "Ivy", is a play on words of the Roman numeral ''IV'' or 4. Ivy leaves symbolize tenacity and fidelity which is the basis of the division's motto: "Steadfast and Loyal". The Combat Action Badge (CAB) is a United States military award given to soldiers of the U.S. Army of any rank and who are not members of an infantry or special forces MOS, for being "present and actively engaging or being engaged by the enemy, and performing satisfactorily in accordance with prescribed rules of engagement" at any point in time after 18 September 2001. Nasiriyah Airport is a public and military airport located 23 km (14 mi) southwest of Nasiriyah, Iraq. Carlisle Barracks is a United States Army facility located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The site of the U.S. Army War College, it is the nation's second-oldest active military base. The first structures were built in 1757, during the French and Indian War between Great Britain and France in the colonies. From 1879 to 1918, the property was transferred to the Department of Interior to operate the Carlisle Indian Industrial School.
