Ron Bruner
Ronald Ray Bruner Jr. (born October 5, 1982) is an American drummer, composer and producer. He has played with hardcore punk/crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. Bruner was part of the band that received a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album in 2010 for ''The Stanley Clarke Band''. He is the older brother of musicians Stephen Bruner (better known as Thundercat) and Jameel Bruner (also known as Kintaro). Stanley Clarke
Stanley Clarke (born June 30, 1951) is an American bassist, composer and founding member of Return to Forever, one of the first jazz fusion bands. Clarke gave the bass guitar a prominence it lacked in jazz-related music. He is the first jazz-fusion bassist to headline tours, sell out shows worldwide and have recordings reach gold status. Clarke is the recipient of five Grammy Awards, with 15 nominations, three as a solo artist, one with the Stanley Clarke Band, and one with Return to Forever. Clarke was selected to become a 2022 recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters Fellowship. Kenny Garrett
Kenny Garrett (born October 9, 1960) is an American post-bop jazz musician and composer who gained recognition in his youth as a member of the Duke Ellington Orchestra and for his time with Miles Davis's band. ''No Mercy Fool!/The Suicidal Family'' is the eleventh studio album by American crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies, released in 2010. It is considered the follow-up to 1993's '' Still Cyco After All These Years''; like that album, it features some re-recorded songs of their early material. Aside from the re-recordings of songs from their 1987 '' Join the Army'' album, it also features re-recordings of No Mercy songs (including the previously released " Something Inside Me" and " No Mercy Fool!"), and the previously released "Come Alive" (from 2008's '' Year of the Cycos'' compilation album). George Martin Duke (January 12, 1946 – August 5, 2013) was an American keyboardist, composer, singer-songwriter and record producer. SMV was a bass guitar supergroup formed in 2008. The group's name comes from the first initials of each of its members, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, and Victor Wooten. The collaboration gained momentum when the three first played together at a concert held by ''Bass Player'' magazine in New York City in 2006, where Miller and Wooten joined on stage to present Clarke with the magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award.
