Romsdalfjord
or is the List of Norwegian Fjords, ninth-longest fjord in Norway. The long fjord is located in the Romsdal district of Møre og Romsdal county. It flows through the municipalities of Molde Municipality, Molde, Haram Municipality, Haram, Vestnes Municipality, Vestnes, and Rauma Municipality, Rauma. The deepest point in the fjord is just southwest of the town of Molde (town), Molde, where it is deep. The fjord is a threshold-fjord, as it is separated from the ocean by a deep shallower areas at the mouth. Several islands and skerries also shelter the wide central fjord from the Atlantic. The western inlet of the fjord is generally considered to be between the island of Dryna (in Molde Municipality) and the village of Brattvåg (in Haram Municipality). A second inlet is to the north, through the Julsundet strait, bound by the island of Otrøya to the west and Molde Municipality to the east. Romsdal is a Districts of Norway, traditional district in the Norwegian county Møre og Romsdal, located between Nordmøre and Sunnmøre. Gudbrandsdalen (; ) is a valley and Districts of Norway, traditional district in the Norway, Norwegian county of Innlandet (formerly Oppland). The valley is oriented in a north-westerly direction from Lillehammer (town), Lillehammer and the lake of Mjøsa, extending toward the Romsdalen valley. Isfjorden (fjord In Møre Og Romsdal)
Isfjorden is an inner branch of the great Romsdal Fjord in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long fjord stretches past the town of Åndalsnes and ends at the village of Isfjorden. Norwegian County Road 64 runs around the whole fjord. The Rauma Line has its terminus at the railway port in the town of Åndalsnes, on the southern coast of the fjord. Eresfjorden
Eresfjorden is a fjord in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is a long branch off of the main Langfjorden, which is itself a branch off the great Romsdal Fjord. The fjord begins at the mouth of the Eira River near the village of Eresfjord, and then it flows north to meet the Langfjorden near the villages of Eidsvåg and Boggestranda.
