Romario Harewood
Romario Harewood (born 17 August 1994) is a Barbadian footballer who currently plays for Weymouth Wales FC of the Barbados Premier Division and the Barbados national team as a midfielder. Club career From 2010 to 2011, Harewood played for Barbadian club St. John's Sonnets. Since 2014, he has played for Barbados Defense Force of the Barbados Premier Division. For the 2015 season, Harewood was the Premier Division's second highest scorer with 14 goals as BDF were crowned league champions. In December 2015 he was one of two Barbadian players (alongside Jomo Harris) to be selected for the MLS Caribbean Combine in Martinique. Saint James, Barbados
The parish of Saint James ("St. James") is an area located in the western central part of the country of Barbados. Increasingly St. James is becoming known as the playground of the rich and famous, and as a haven for sun-starved tourists with its up-market hotel resorts. In local colloquium, St. James was known as the "Gold Coast", but due to its ongoing popularity it is now often referred to as the "Platinum Coast", reflective of the parish's many glitzy beach-front mansions, pristine beaches, luxury hotel resorts, and consistently high land prices. 2014 Caribbean Cup Qualification
The 2014 Caribbean Cup qualification began in May 2014 and ended in October 2014. The qualification competition determined which national teams could play in the 2014 Caribbean Cup which in turn determined which teams participated in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2016 Copa América Centenario. In March 2014, it was announced that Jamaica would host the 'final stage' of the competition in Montego Bay. In April 2014, the Caribbean Football Union announced the group stage draw. Barbados Men's International Footballers
Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands. 2017 Caribbean Cup Qualification
The 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification began in March 2016. The qualification competition determined which Caribbean national teams would play in the 2017 Caribbean Cup and the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Participants 25 teams from the 31 CFU members entered the qualification tournament. Sint Maarten participated for the first time since 1997. Draw Twenty five nations were involved in the draw, which took place on 16 January 2016, 21:00 AST ( UTC−4), at the Jolly Beach Resort & Spa resort in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. Four teams were given a bye due to their involvement in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – CONCACAF Fourth Round.
