Romantic Warrior (horse)
Romantic Warrior (foaled March 18, 2018) is a multiple Group 1 winning champion thoroughbred racehorse that was born in Ireland and trained in Hong Kong. After it arrived in Hong Kong in June 2021, he scored a five-race winning streak, including a championship of the Hong Kong Classic Mile. He is currently owned by Lau Pak Fai and trained by Danny Shum Chap Shing. He was the Champion Middle-Distance Horse, the Champion Four-Year-Old and the Most Improved Horse in the year 2022. He is notable for winning the Cox Plate in 2023 and the Hong Kong Cup in 2022, 2023 and 2024. He also won the Yasuda Kinen in 2024, being the first foreign-trained horse in 18 years to win at the Tokyo Racecourse since Bullish Luck in 2006, also in the same race. Tokyo Racecourse
is located in Fuchū, Tokyo, Japan. Built in 1933 for horse racing, it is considered the "racecourse of racecourses" in Japanese horseracing. It has a capacity of 223,000, with seating for 13,750. Tokyo Racecourse hosts numerous G1 (Grade 1) races, including the Japan Cup, Tokyo Yushun (the Japanese Derby) and the Yasuda Kinen, a part of the Asian Mile Challenge. Physical attributes Tokyo Racecourse's grass course measures with two chutes (1800 m and 2000 m). Races can be run on the "A Course" rail setting (on the hedge), the "B Course" setting (rail out 3 meters), the "C Course" setting (rail out 6 meters), the "D Course" setting (rail out 9 meters) or the "E Course" setting (rail out 12 meters). The dirt course measures , with a chute. The jump course measures . Meydan Racecourse
Meydan Racecourse is a racecourse in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The grandstand is a half mile in length, and can accommodate over 60,000 spectators. Meydan opened on 27 March 2010, replacing Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, which formerly occupied the same site. It includes a horse racing museum, gallery and five-star hotel and nine-hole golf course. When not in use for racing it serves as a business and conference centre. The track's interior was also used as a filming location for the film ''Star Trek Beyond'', depicting the docking bay where the USS ''Enterprise'' is moored, including the bar scene during the film's climax which contains a ship construction bay. Tastiera(Japanese: タスティエーラ, Foaled March 22, 2020)is an active Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse. His major wins include Tōkyō Yūshun and Queen Elizabeth II Cup. His name was derived from an Italian word which means "Keyboard", which is related to his Dam's name. He was awarded the JRA Award for Best Three-Year-Old Colt for 2023. Racing career 2022: Two-year old season Tastiera made his debut at the Tokyo Racecourse on November 27, 2022, in a two-year old newcomer race on turf over 1800m. He was ridden by Ryan Moore and won the race. 2023: Three-year old season In Tastiera's first race of his three-year old season, he was entered in the Kyodo Tsushin Hai on February 12 for his first Graded stakes race challenge. Liberty Island(; February 2, 2020 – April 27, 2025) was a Japanese thoroughbred racehorse. Liberty Island became the Japanese Triple Tiara winner of 2023. Her name is derived from the island of the same name in New York Harbor, where the Statue of Liberty is installed (as her mother is named ""). Her major victories include the 2022 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies, the 2023 Oka Sho, Yushun Himba, and Shuka Sho. She was awarded the JRA Award for Best Two-Year-Old Filly for 2022 and the JRA Award for Best Three-Year-Old Filly for 2023. Liberty Island died on April 27, 2025, at the age of 5. is a Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse best known for his victories in the 2024 Mile Championship and the 2025 Dubai Turf. He won the JRA Award for Best Sprinter or Miler in 2024. Racing career 2020: two-year-old season Soul Rush debuted on December 13, 2020, in a 2-year-old maiden race at Chukyo Racecourse (2000m, turf). Racing mid-pack early, he surged ahead in the final stretch to win by two lengths. 2021: three-year-old season In his second career start, the Asunaro Sho, he finished sixth.
