The Romanian Cycling Federation (), abbreviated to FRC, is the national governing body of cycle racing in Romania. The FRC is a member of the UCI and the UEC. Băneasa
Băneasa () is a borough () on the north side of Bucharest, in Sector 1, near the Băneasa Lake (). Like every north-side district of Bucharest, it is relatively sparsely populated, with large areas of parkland. Bordering on Băneasa Forest, Băneasa hosts the Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, used mainly by private jets and business aviation, and is home to Zoo Băneasa, the Băneasa railway station, the Băneasa Shopping City, and the Embassy of the United States. The Tour of Romania (or "Little Loop") is a cycling competition held in Romania. It is organised as 2.1 race on the UCI Europe Tour. The tour is organized by the Romanian Cycling Federation. History Inspired by Tour de France, the monthly publication "Car Magazine" held in August 1910 the first edition of "Circuit Wallachia".
