"Rolling Stone" is a song by New Zealand band Six60, released as the fourth single from their 2017 extended play ''Six60'' (2017). Background and composition "Rolling Stone" is a break-up song, Band member Ji Fraser felt that the song was "powerful", and liked the song's sentiment of not being angry at a person after the break-up of a relationship. Six60
Six60 are a New Zealand pop rock band formed in Dunedin, Otago in 2008. The band consists of Matiu Walters (lead vocals, guitar), Ji Fraser (lead guitar), Chris Mac (bass guitar), Marlon Gerbes (synthesiser), Hoani Matenga (bass guitar) and Eli Paewai (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released on 10 October 2011 on their own label Massive Entertainment. The album was produced and mixed by Tiki Taane and debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts and was certified gold within its first week of release. Their first two singles "Rise Up 2.0" and " Don't Forget Your Roots" reached number one and number two respectively on the RIANZ singles chart and were both certified double and triple platinum. ''Six60'' is the third extended play by New Zealand band Six60. The release was a wide-scale commercial success in New Zealand, debuting at number two on the New Zealand albums chart, and being one of the top-performing releases in New Zealand between 2017 and 2021. Production The album was recorded at HQ, the band's newly created studio in Auckland, New Zealand. Release The songs from the extended play were released weekly as singles, beginning on 13 October 2017 with " Don't Give It Up" and ending with "Up There" on 17 November, the release date of the EP. Priese Prince Lamont "Printz" Board (born September 11, 1982) is an American record producer, songwriter, and singer best known for his work with Black Eyed Peas and being a member of the production group Bucky Johnson.
