Roller Coaster (Papéa Parc)
Roller Coaster is a steel roller coaster located Papéa Parc amusement park in Yvré-l'Evêque, France. It was formerly known as Beaver Land Mine Ride and Road Runner Express at Geauga Lake in Aurora, Ohio. It was a standard production model junior coaster from Zierer. It is known for having the longest train of any coaster (with 20 two-seat cars) at Papea Parc, and it is also the only coaster in the park to complete a full circuit twice while in operation. This ride was installed as Roadrunner Express at Geauga Lake when it was known as Six Flags Ohio in 2000 and was one of three identical coasters installed in Six Flags parks that year. It was named after the Looney Tunes character Road Runner. In March 2004, Six Flags sold its Ohio park (renamed to Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in 2001 after purchasing the neighboring SeaWorld Ohio park and merged both parks together) to Cedar Fair, with the park being renamed back to Geauga Lake. Geauga Lake
Geauga Lake was an amusement park in Bainbridge Township, Geauga County, Ohio, Bainbridge Township and Aurora, Ohio, Aurora, Ohio. It was established in 1887, in what had been a local recreation area adjacent to Geauga Lake (lake), a lake of the same name. The first amusement ride was added in 1889, and the park's first roller coaster the Big Dipper (Geauga Lake), Big Dipper was built in 1925. The park was sold to Funtime, Inc., in 1969 and was expanded over the years with additional rides and amenities. Funtime was acquired by Six Flags#History of Premier Parks, Premier Parks in 1995, and for the 2000 season, they re-branded Geauga Lake as Six Flags Ohio, adding four new roller coasters. Werner Stengel
Werner Stengel (born 22 August 1936, in Bochum) is a German roller coaster designer and engineer. Stengel is the founder of Stengel Engineering, also known as Ingenieurbüro Stengel GmbH (or Ingenieurbuero Stengel GmbH). Stengel first worked on amusement park rides in collaboration with Anton Schwarzkopf in 1963. He established his own company, Stengel Engineering, in 1965. His collaboration with Schwarzkopf was responsible for many innovations in roller coaster design, including in 1976 the first modern "vertical" looping coaster, ''Revolution'', at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
