Roland R. Renne
Roland R. Renne (December 12, 1905 – August 30, 1989) was an American agricultural economics professor who served as President of Montana State University-Bozeman, Montana State College from 1943 to 1964. Renne was also active in Washington, D.C., and United States overseas agricultural economics work. He was the 1964 Democratic Party (United States), Democratic candidate for governor of Montana. Pierce Mullen (March 4, 1934– March 16, 2022) was a professor of history at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana and was a participant in the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and the Quest for Knowledge Club. Personal life Pierce Mullen was born on March 4, 1934, in Hastings, Nebraska to Neil Mullen and Ruth Pierce. Following his graduation at age 16 from St. Cecilia High School in Hastings, Mullen went on to study at St. Benedict College in Atchinson, Kansas. He completed his B.A. at Hastings College in 1957. A year later, in 1958, Mullen received his M.A. from the University of Nebraska. In 1964, Mullen earned his PhD in history from the University of California-Berkeley.
