The Austrian National Time Trial Championships are held annually as part of the Austrian National Cycling Championships, they decide the best cyclists in this discipline in Austria, across various categories. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey which is red and white, just like the national flag, these colours can be worn by the rider at other time trialling events in the country to show their status as national champion. Track Cycling
Track cycling is a bicycle racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using purpose-designed track bicycles. History Track cycling has been around since at least 1870. When track cycling was in its infancy, it was held on velodromes similar to the ones used today. These velodromes consisted of two straights and slightly banked turns, though they varied more in length and material than the modern 250m track.
