Roland Cedermark
Roland Cedermark, (23 April 1938 – 24 December 2020) was a Swedish musician (accordionist). He was born in Älvros and made his solo debut in 1976. He sold over 2 million records in Sweden. Amongst his hits were "Vandra varsamt" in 2010, "Någon behöver dej" in 1997 and "Whispering" in 1977. Biography Roland Cedermark came from a family of musicians, where, among other things, his grandfather was a fiddler from Härjedalen. Cedermark himself was conductor of the dance band Cedermarks from 1958 until 1973. He made his record debut as a solo artist in 1976, and has since sold more than 2 million copies of his records, of which as many as 12 have sold gold. His album is still released on cassette tape, as he especially addresses the older audience. Most recently during the 1990s and in the early 2000s, he had melodies at Svensktoppen. Härjedalen
Härjedalen (; no, Herjådalen or ) is a historical province (''landskap'') in the centre of Sweden. It borders the Norwegian county of Trøndelag as well as the provinces of Dalarna, Hälsingland, Medelpad, and Jämtland. The province originally belonged to Norway, but was ceded to Sweden in the Treaty of Brömsebro, 1645. The province forms the bulk of Härjedalen Municipality, of which the village of Sveg is the seat. ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing at Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982-1985. The last years before the January 2003 change, the programme was strongly dominated by dansband music. 100 Höjdare
''100 höjdare'' ("100 Highlights") was a Swedish TV series which was produced and aired on Kanal 5. Six seasons of the show were produced and it ran from 2004 to 2008. It was hosted by the comedy duo Filip Hammar & Fredrik Wikingsson. In the first three seasons the hosts presented funny moments, often in the form of video clips, listing their 100 all-time favorites. In season two and three they also discuss the clips with celebrity guests. By season four the format changed and instead of showing clips, Filip and Fredrik made impromptu interviews with people, often in their homes.
