Rokach (river)
Rokach (, ) is a river in Ukraine, a left tributary of the Irpin River. It is located in Bucha Raion of Kyiv Oblast. The river is 17 kilometres long, and has a drainage basin of 160 square kilometres. Rokach River begins in the forest to the north of Mykulychi. It flows through a dam near Myrotske, and due to this a pond is formed. The river continues flowing on the border of Bucha and Hostomel, and then through Hostomel. Rokach flows into Irpin River around 1 kilometre east of Hostomel. Bucha, Ukraine
Bucha (, ) is a city in Ukraine's Kyiv Oblast. Administratively, it serves as the administrative center of Bucha Raion. It hosts the administration of Bucha urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Its population is approximately Bucha Day is celebrated in the city between 11 and 13 September. The battle of Bucha was a major part of the northern front of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The battle lasted from 27 February to 31 March 2022, when Russian forces withdrew and mayor Anatolii Fedoruk reported that the city had been fully retaken. Hostomel
Hostomel (, ) is a Rural settlement#Ukraine, rural settlement in Bucha Raion, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine. It is located northwest of the capital Kyiv. It hosts the administration of Hostomel settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: The town is mainly known for Hostomel Airport, also known as Antonov Airport, a major international cargo facility. There is also a Vetropack glass factory in Hostomel. Dnieper
The Dnieper or Dnepr ( ), also called Dnipro ( ), is one of the major transboundary rivers of Europe, rising in the Valdai Hills near Smolensk, Russia, before flowing through Belarus and Ukraine to the Black Sea. Dnieper–Bug Estuary
The Dnieper–Bug estuary (), also called the Dniprovska Gulf, is an open estuary, or liman, of two rivers: the Dnieper and the Southern Bug (also called the Boh River). It is located on the northern coast of the Black Sea and is separated from it by the Kinburn Spit and the Cape of Ochakiv. A drainage basin is an area of land in which all flowing surface water converges to a single point, such as a river mouth, or flows into another body of water, such as a lake or ocean. Myrotske
Myrotske (, ) is a village in Bucha Raion of Kyiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It belongs to Bucha urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. There is a pond cascade in Myrotske, this is a good place to go fishing. The closest railway station is in Nemishaieve – 3 km away. The closest settlements are Nemishaieve – 2 km, Vorzel – 7 km and Bucha – 10 km away. History The main occupation in the village is agriculture. Prior to the town's formation, in the 19th century, the settlement was a possession of the influential Russian Vorontsov family. In the 20th century it was part of sovkhoz (state farm) Kievskiy.
