"Roi" (; ) is a song performed by French singer Bilal Hassani and written by Hassani, Madame Monsieur and Medeline. The song represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The song was released as a digital download on 11 January 2019 through Low Wood as the lead single from his début studio album ''Kingdom (Bilal Hassani album), Kingdom''. Composition "Roi" was written by Hassani and the French duo Madame Monsieur who represented France in Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Roi Mata (or Roy Mata, Roymata) was a chiefly title in the central islands of Vanuatu. It was borne by a long dynasty of chiefs, from the 11th to the 17th century. Bessis (2023), pp.56-57, 88-90. Among the bearers of the ''Roi Mata'' title, the most famous is the last one, a man believed to have lived around year 1600. ''Chief Roi Mata's domain'' (UNESCO report). That chief is often designated as "Roi Mata", with no formal distinction from its predecessors — a source of potential confusion. Cú Roí mac Dáire (Cú Ruí, Cú Raoi) is a king of Munster in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. He is usually portrayed as a warrior with superhuman abilities and a master of disguise possessed of magical powers. His name probably means "hound of the plain/field", or more specifically, "hound of the battlefield". He is the son of Dáire mac Dedad (or Dáire Doimthech), and thus belongs to the Clanna Dedad. However, T. F. O'Rahilly believed this to be artificial, stating that "Cú Roí and Dáire are ultimately one and the same". A region of interest (often abbreviated ROI) is a sample within a data set identified for a particular purpose. The concept of a ROI is commonly used in many application areas.
