Rogue (Marvel Comics)
Rogue is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Michael Golden (comics), Michael Golden, she first appeared in ''The Avengers (comic book), Avengers Annual'' #10 in 1981. In her comic book appearances, Rogue is depicted as a Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant, a subspecies of humans born with an "X-gene (comics), X-gene" that grants Superpower (ability), superhuman abilities. ''Rogue Trooper'' is a science fiction strip in the British comic book, comic ''2000 AD (comics), 2000 AD'', created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons in 1981. It portrays the adventures of a "Supersoldier, Genetic Infantryman" named Rogue and three Mind uploading in fiction, uploaded minds mounted on his equipment who search for the Traitor General who betrayed their regiment to the enemy. The series was Reboot (fiction), rebooted in 1989 in the story "The War Machine", featuring a new version of the character called Friday (2000 AD), Friday. ''Rogue'' (also known as ''Rogue: Exploring the Dungeons of Doom'') is a dungeon crawling video game by Michael Toy and Glenn Wichman with later contributions by Ken Arnold. ''Rogue'' was originally developed around 1980 for Unix-based minicomputer systems as a freely distributed executable. It is listed in the 4th Berkeley Software Distribution UNIX programmer's manual of November 1980, as one of 28 games included (along with Zork, Colossal Cave Adventure, Hunt the Wumpus and Mike Urban's Aardvark). It was later included in the Berkeley Software Distribution 4.2 operating system (4.2BSD). The Rogues are a group of supervillains of the comic book superhero the Flash. Known members throughout its incarnation are Captain Cold, Abra Kadabra, Mirror Master, Heat Wave, the Golden Glider, the Weather Wizard, the Trickster, the Pied Piper, the Top, and Captain Boomerang. Rogue is a professional esports organization with teams competing across several different titles in Europe and the United States. It has two ''League of Legends'' teams based in Europe: a main team that participates in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), and an academy team that participates in the Ultraliga. Team Rogue was founded by Franklin Villarreal, Derek Nelson and Carson Knuth in 2016, and acquired by now parent and management company ReKTGlobal and its partners in 2018. Rogue Ales is a brewery founded in 1988 in Ashland, Oregon. Rogue has pub locations in Oregon. History Rogue Ales was founded in Ashland, Oregon in 1988 by three Nike, Inc. executives: Jack Joyce (businessman), Jack Joyce, Rob Strasser, and Bob Woodell. Rogue (originally Rogue Pictures) is an American independent production company founded in 1998 by Matt Wall and Patrick Gunn, originally started off as a genre film label of the Universal-affiliated independent film studio October Films and was based in Universal City, California.
