Sir Roger Spencer Jones OBE Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales, FLSW (born 2 July 1943) is a British researcher and manager in the pharmaceutical industry. He has chaired or been a board member of many public bodies. Early life and education Roger Spencer Jones was born on 2 July 1943 and brought up in a small, predominantly Welsh speaking village in the River Dee, Wales, Dee valley. He was educated at Bala, Gwynedd, Bala Boys' Grammar School and the Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff. After his B.Pharm he completed his professional qualifications and went to Bradford Management School, where he gained his MSc.''Who's Who 2008'', p.1238. Christ College, Brecon, is a co-educational, boarding and day independent school, located in the cathedral and market town of Brecon in mid-Wales. It currently caters for pupils aged 7–18 years. History Christ College was founded by Royal Charter in 1541 by King Henry VIII. The school still uses the medieval chapel and halls of the Dominican Priory dissolved by Henry.
