Rodrigo Figueroa Y Torres
Rodrigo Figueroa y Torres (24 October 1866 – 1 June 1929) was a Spanish politician during the Restoration and Civil Governor of Madrid in 1909. He studied medicine, but he is best known for being a politician and a wide-ranging artist, standing out especially as a sculptor, winning various mentions in Fine Arts Exhibitions. He was thus a truly versatile person, a doctor interested in sculpture, painting, diplomacy, and even held the noble title of . Early and personal life Rodrigo Figueroa y Torres was born in Madrid on 24 October 1866, as the son of Ignacio Figueroa y Mendieta, and the younger brother of José (Viscount of Irueste), Gonzalo, and Álvaro (the Count of Romanones). He was part of one of the most influential families in Spain during the Restoration period. Christian Franzen (photographer)
Christian Franzen Nissen (1864–1923) was a Danish photographer and diplomat largely active in Spain. Specialised in portrait photography and often employed by the Spanish royal family, he reportedly self-styled as "Photographer of Kings and King of Photographers". Biography He was born in 1864. Once settled in Spain, he opened a photographic studio at the Madrid's . Very appreciated by Queen Mother Maria Christina of Austria, Maria Christina, he was able to take many full-body portraits of the Spanish royal family and the aristocracy. He became consul of Denmark in 1910. He was, along with Kaulak, one of the best known portrait photographers in Spain by the turn of the 20th century. He died in 1923. Eduardo Barrón
Eduardo Barrón (full name Eduardo Barrón y Ramos de Sotomayor; 7 September 1888 – 13 January 1949) was a Spanish Aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineer and military pilot who led the design department at ''Talleres Loring'' from 1923 to 1930. Biography Eduardo Barrón was born in a village in Chronology of Colonial Cuba, Colonial Cuba. His family moved to Spain towards the turn of the century, settling in Madrid. He studied at the Academy of Military Engineering of Guadalajara in 1902, becoming an apprentice lieutenant in 1907.
