Roddy MacLennan
Roddy MacLennan (born 3 May 1989 in Livingston) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Linlithgow Rose in the East of Scotland League. He is a product of Clyde's youth system. Career MacLennan signed a YTS contract with Clyde in July 2007. He made his senior debut in a Scottish Cup third round tie against Montrose in November 2007. His older brother Ruari also played in this match, and in doing so, they became the first set of brothers to play for Clyde for 17 years. On the day of this game, MacLennan signed a three-year professional contract. He made his league debut a week later, in a 0–0 draw against Queen of the South. His first senior goal came against Queen's Park in August 2008 in the Scottish League Cup. He also won the Man of the Match award in this game. MacLennan's contract was terminated in June 2009, following Clyde's relegation and financial troubles. Livingston, Scotland
Livingston ( sco, Leivinstoun, gd, Baile Dhunlèibhe) is the largest town in West Lothian, Scotland. Designated in 1962, it is the fourth post-war new town to be built in Scotland. Taking its name from a village of the same name incorporated into the new town, it was originally developed in the then-counties of Midlothian and West Lothian along the banks of the River Almond. It is situated approximately fifteen miles (25 km) west of Edinburgh and thirty miles (50 km) east of Glasgow, and is close to the towns of Broxburn to the north-east and Bathgate to the north-west. Scottish Junior Football Association
The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football (soccer), football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its Scottish football league system, football league system until 2021. Founded in 1886, the SJFA is responsible for disciplinary matters within the grade, certain player registration procedures and organising the annual Scottish Junior Cup. Scottish Football League
The Scottish Football League (SFL) was a league featuring professional and semi-professional football clubs mostly from Scotland.One club, Berwick Rangers, is based in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is located approximately 4 km south of the Anglo-Scottish border. From its foundation in 1890 until the breakaway Scottish Premier League (SPL) was formed in 1998, the SFL was the top level of football in Scotland. After 1998, the SFL represented levels 2 to 4 of the Scottish football league system. In June 2013, the SFL merged with the SPL to form the Scottish Professional Football League. The SFL was associated with a title sponsor from the 1985–86 season.
