Rod Sherman
Rodney Jarvis Sherman (December 25, 1944 – February 6, 2024) was an American professional football player who was a wide receiver in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the USC Trojans. High school career Sherman attended John Muir High School in Pasadena, California. College career Sherman played college football at the University of Southern California. He was an All-Pac-8 selection in 1966. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. John Muir High School (Pasadena, California)
John Muir High School is a four-year comprehensive secondary school in Pasadena, California, United States and is a part of the Pasadena Unified School District. The school is named after preservationist John Muir. History In 1926 the Pasadena Unified School District constructed a second high school in the northwest corner of the city. The school was named John Muir Technical High School and though majority white, it served a growing community of Black, Japanese-American and Mexican-American students. In 1938 the school was converted into a junior college and renamed Pasadena Junior College West. It closed during WW2 and was used by the US Army as a Training School.
