Rocky Dundas
Rocky Dundas (born January 30, 1967) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. He played 5 games in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 1989–90 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1987 to 1990, was spent in the American Hockey League. Hockey career Dundas was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He spent four full seasons in the Western Hockey League with three different teams. His top junior season was his third, with the Spokane Chiefs, when he scored 31 goals and 101 points. The trade to his third junior team, the Medicine Hat Tigers, was his most rewarding, as a result of a Memorial Cup championship at season's end. The Montreal Canadiens selected Dundas in the 1985 entry Draft, and he soon found himself playing in their system with the American Hockey League's Sherbrooke Canadiens. Regina, Saskatchewan
Regina () is the capital city of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The city is the second-largest in the province, after Saskatoon, and is a commercial centre for southern Saskatchewan. Kelowna Wings
The Kelowna Wings were a junior ice hockey team based in Kelowna, British Columbia that played in the Western Hockey League from 1982–85. The Wings were abysmal in their three-year tenure, winning just 56 out of 216 games played. The franchise relocated to Spokane, Washington following the 1984–85 season and became the Spokane Chiefs. The City of Kelowna would wait ten years for the WHL to return as the Tacoma Rockets relocated to the city and became a perennial contender. Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League
The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is a Junior 'A' ice hockey league operating in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan and one of nine member leagues of the Canadian Junior Hockey League. Open to North American-born players 20 years of age or younger, the SJHL's 12 teams play in three divisions: the Olympic Buildings, Sherwood and Viterra Divisions. The Regina Blues were a Tier-II Junior "A" team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. They were members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Penalty (ice Hockey)
A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play. Penalties are called and enforced by the referee, or in some cases, the linesman. The offending team may not replace the player on the ice (although there are some exceptions, such as fighting), leaving them short-handed as opposed to full strength. When the opposing team is said to be on a '' power play'', they will have one more player on the ice than the short-handed team. The short-handed team is said to be "on the penalty kill" until the penalty expires and the penalized player returns to play. While standards vary somewhat between leagues, most leagues recognize several common varieties of penalties, as well as common infractions.
