''Rocks'' is a 2019 British List of coming-of-age stories, coming-of-age Drama (film and television), drama film directed by Sarah Gavron. The film stars Bukky Bakray as Olushola, nicknamed "Rocks", a Black British teenage girl living in London Borough of Hackney, Hackney, London, whose single mother abandons her and her younger brother Emmanuel (D’angelou Osei Kissiedu), forcing them to try to avoid being taken into social services. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review aggregator, review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Islah Abdur-Rahman (; born 20 April 1991) is a British Bangladeshi film director, actor, singer and screenwriter. He is best known for writing, directing and starring in the hit series, the ''Corner Shop Show'' and for creating and directing the web series ''Mandem in the Wall''.
