David Garrett
David Garrett Christian Bongartz (born 4 September 1980), known by his stage name David Garrett, is a German classical and crossover violinist and recording artist. Early life When Garrett was four years old his father purchased a violin for his older brother. The young Garrett took an interest and soon learned to play. A year later, he took part in a competition and won first prize. By the age of seven, he studied violin at the Lübeck Conservatoire. When he was nine years old he gave his debut at the Festival Kissinger Sommer, and by the age of 12, Garrett began working with the distinguished Polish violinist Ida Haendel, often traveling to London and other European cities to meet her. After leaving home at 17, he enrolled at the Royal College of Music in London, leaving after the first semester. ''Master of Puppets'' is the third studio album by the American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Metallica, released on March 3, 1986, by Elektra Records. Recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark, at Sweet Silence Studios with producer Flemming Rasmussen, it is the band's final album to feature bassist Cliff Burton. While Damage Inc. Tour, touring in support of ''Master of Puppets'', he died on September 27, 1986, after the band's tour bus was involved in an accident in Dörarp, Dörarp, Sweden. ''Rockin' All Over the World'' is the tenth studio album by United Kingdom, British band Status Quo (band), Status Quo. It is their first to be produced by Pip Williams. Released in November 1977, it reached #5 in the UK. "A poxy album," said guitarist and singer Francis Rossi. "There's nothing poxy about ''Rockin' All Over the World''," countered guitarist Rick Parfitt. "It's fucking great. Pip added some class into the production and, from then onwards, we got quite posh – for us." Uncharacteristically, bassist Alan Lancaster agreed with Rossi: "When Pip Williams started producing us was when everything started to go wrong." The title track, written and originally recorded by John Fogerty, was released as a single in September 1977, peaking at #3 in the UK. Boris Claudio "Lalo" Schifrin (born June 21, 1932) is an Argentine-American pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor. He is best known for his large body of film and TV scores since the 1950s, incorporating jazz and Music of Latin America, Latin American musical elements alongside traditional orchestrations. ''Peer Gynt'', Op. 23, is the incidental music to Henrik Ibsen's 1867 play ''Peer Gynt'', written by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg in 1875. British Rock Symphony
The British Rock Symphony was a tour that featured classic rock hits presented by a gospel choir, a full orchestra and vocalists including: Roger Daltrey, Darlene Love, Never the Bride, Nikki Lamborn, Alice Cooper, Paul Young, Simon Townshend and Gary Brooker. Geoff Whitehorn played guitar and Zak Starkey performed on drums with Jaz Lochrie on Bass guitar. Studio recordings were issued on CD and cassette tape in 1999, and a video of live recordings from the tour in both VHS and DVD formats was issued in 2000. Eric Clapton and Ann Wilson appeared on the CD, but were not present on the tour DVD. The tour was organized by producer David Fishof and launched at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 28 June 1999. After appearing at several venues in the UK, the tour continued in Europe and the United States. "Kashmir" is a song by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. Featured on their sixth studio album '' Physical Graffiti'' (1975), it was written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant with contributions from John Bonham over a period of three years with lyrics dating to 1973. John Paul Jones was late arriving to the studio for the recording sessions, so did not receive a writer's credit. The song became a concert staple, performed by the band at almost every concert after its release. It has been described as one of Led Zeppelin's two most overtly progressive epics (the other being "Stairway to Heaven"). Composition Page uses a guitar tuning of D–A–D–G–A–D, which he had used for the instrumentals " White Summer" and " Black Mountain Side". ''Asturias'' (''Leyenda''), named simply ''Prelude'' by its composer, is a musical work by the Spanish composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz (1860–1909). The piece, which lasts around six minutes in performance, was originally written for the piano and set in the key of G minor. It was first published in Barcelona, by Juan Bta. Pujol & Co., in 1892 as the prelude of a three-movement set entitled ''Chants d'Espagne''. The name ''Asturias (Leyenda)'' was given to it posthumously by the German publisher Hofmeister, who included it in the 1911 "complete version" of the ''Suite española'', although Albéniz never intended the piece for this suite.
