Roby Järventie
Roby Järventie is a Finnish professional ice hockey left winger for Bakersfield Condors in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Järventie was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 2020 NHL entry draft. Järventie played professionally for Ilves in Finland before coming to North America in 2021. Playing career Ottawa Senators Järventie was drafted by the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL) with the 33rd overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NHL entry draft. On 27 April 2021, Järventie was signed to a three-year, entry-level deal with the Senators. 2022 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 2022 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships (''2022 WJHC'') was the 46th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship, held from 9 to 20 August 2022 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held from 26 December 2021 through 5 January 2022, in Edmonton and Red Deer — the host cities originally awarded the 2022 tournament before it was moved into a "bubble" behind closed doors competition in Edmonton due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the tournament, multiple teams reported COVID-19 outbreaks. Consequently, the IIHF decided on 29 December 2021 to cancel the tournament. In February 2022, it was announced that the tournament would be replayed from scratch at a later date, while all results and statistics from December games would be annulled. The U20 SM-sarja ('Under-20 Finnish Championship Series') is the premier junior men's ice hockey league in Finland. It was previously known as the A-nuorten SM-sarja ('Junior A Finnish Championship Series') during 1945 to 1991 and the Nuorten SM-liiga ('Junior Finnish Championship League') during 1991 to 2020. A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play. Canada Men's National Junior Ice Hockey Team
The Canadian men's national under-20 ice hockey team is the ice hockey team representing Canada internationally in under-20 competition. Their primary participation in this age group comes at the International Ice Hockey Federation's World Junior Championship, held annually every December and January.
