Robin Hood (2009 Film)
''Robinhood: Prince of Thieves'', simply known as ''Robin Hood'', is a 2009 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by Joshiy, written by Sachi-Sethu and produced by Santha Murali and P. K. Muralidharan under Anantha Vision. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, alongside Narain, Jayasurya, Biju Menon, Bhavana and Samvrutha Sunil. The title of the movie was inspired from the Hollywood movie (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) of the same name released in the year 1991. ''Robin Hood'' was released on 24 September 2009 to mixed reviews from critics and became commercially successful at the box office. Joshiy
Joshiy (born 18 July 1952) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and also directed Tamil language, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu language, Telugu and Kannada-language films. Joshiy made his directorial debut in the 1978 film ''Tiger Salim'', but it was the 1980 film ''Moorkhan (film), Moorkhan'' that was his breakthrough in Malayalam cinema. He is regarded as the pioneer of film noir and action thrillers in Malayalam. Sudhi Koppa
Sudhi Koppa is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films. He made his cinematic debut in 2009 with an uncredited appearance in '' Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded'' (2009). Personal life Sudhi hails from Kochi. His father, who was a government officer had a passion towards drama and owned a drama troupe. Anil Murali
Anil Murali ( – 30 July 2020) was an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 200 films. He started out in the film industry as a villain before later taking on character roles. He died on 30 July 2020, as a result of liver-related ailments. Personal life and death He was born to Muraleedharan Nair and Sreekumari Amma at Thiruvananthapuram. He has 3 elder brothers and a younger sister. Anil was married to Suma. They have a son, Aditya and a daughter, Arundati. He died on 30 July 2020 at Aster Medcity, Kochi due to liver disease, at age 56. He was cremated at Santhikavadam crematorium in Thiruvananthapuram. He is survived by his wife, whom he married in 1994, and their two children.
