Robin Henkens
Robin Henkens (born 12 September 1988 in Hasselt) is a Belgian football midfielder who plays for Lommel SK. Career As of December 2008 he was contracted to Genk, but was being linked to a move to STVV. However, in February 2009 he was loaned from Genk to Kvsk United until the end of the season. In August 2009, he made a permanent move to KVSK United, and In the 2009–10 season he played 32 league games for them in the Belgian Second Division. As of the 2010–11 season KVSK United changed their name to Lommel United. He moved to KV Mechelen for 2011–12, and made 10 appearances for them in his first season. In April 2013 it was announced that he would be joining Waasland-Beveren for the 2013–14 season. In 2013/14 he made 33 league appearances for Waasland, scoring 4 goals. Hasselt (, , ; la, Hasseletum, Hasselatum) is a Belgian city and municipality, and capital and largest city of the province of Limburg in the Flemish Region of Belgium. The 2011–12 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 109th season of top-tier football in Belgium. It began on 29 July 2011 with the first match of the regular season and ended in May 2012 with the last matches of the playoff rounds. The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. History The second division was created in 1909 and was known as the Promotion nl, bevordering at the time. From 1923 on there were two leagues in that division (called Promotion A and Promotion B). In 1926, the system changed, with only one league of 14 clubs at the second-highest level now called Division I.
