Robin Driscoll
Robin Driscoll (born 28 June 1957) is a British actor and writer. He is best known as a writer of List of Mr. Bean episodes, ''Mr. Bean'' episodes with Rowan Atkinson. He and Atkinson are close friends; they appeared in ''Funny Business (TV series), Funny Business'' (1992). As an actor, Driscoll appeared in episodes of ''Only Fools and Horses'' ("The Jolly Boys' Outing"), ''Murder Most Horrid'', ''Dear John (UK TV series), Dear John'', ''Alas Smith & Jones'', and ''The Fast Show''. Rowan Atkinson
Rowan Sebastian Atkinson (born 6 January 1955) is an English actor, comedian and writer. He played the title roles on the sitcoms ''Blackadder'' (1983–1989) and '' Mr. Bean'' (1990–1995), and the film series '' Johnny English'' (2003–2018). Atkinson first came to prominence in the BBC sketch comedy show '' Not the Nine O'Clock News'' (1979–1982), receiving the 1981 British Academy Television Award for Best Entertainment Performance, and '' The Secret Policeman's Ball'' (1979) where he performed a skit. Subsequent skits on stage have featured solo performances as well as collaborations. ''Funny Business'' (also known as ''Laughing Matters'') is a BBC television documentary series about the craft of comedy. Originally airing in the UK on 22 November 1992 the series consisted of six 50-minute episodes, with each one focusing on a different aspect of humour and show business entertainment. "The Jolly Boys' Outing" is the eighth Christmas special episode of the BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'', first screened on 25 December 1989. Despite being aired as a Christmas special, it is set on an August bank holiday weekend, and sees Del and the gang go on a road trip to Margate. ''Murder Most Horrid'' is a British black comedy anthology series starring Dawn French. It was broadcast on BBC Two for four series runs, in 1991, 1994, 1996 and 1999. ''Dear John'' is a British sitcom, written by John Sullivan. Two series and a special were broadcast in 1986 and 1987. The sitcom's title refers to "Dear John" letters, usually written by women to their partners as a means of ending a relationship. John discovers in the opening episode that his wife is leaving him for a friend. He is kicked out of his home, while still being expected to pay the mortgage, and forced to find lodgings. In desperation, he joins the 1-2-1 Singles Club and meets other people (whom one could describe as misfits), who have fared equally unfortunately in their romantic lives.
