Roberto Sánchez Palomino
Roberto Helbert Sánchez Palomino (born February 3, 1969) is a Peruvians, Peruvian psychologist and politician. He is a congressman of the Congress of the Republic of Peru for the period 2021-2026 and was Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism for Pedro Castillo from July 29, 2021 until his resignation on December 7, 2022. Biography Roberto was born in Huaral on February 3, 1969. He studied Psychology at the National University of San Marcos. In 2020, he was appointed manager of Social Development of the Provincial Municipality of Huaral. Political career In the 2006 Peruvian general election, 2006 general elections, Roberto ran for congress for the Decentralization Coalition, Decentralist Concertation for Lima, without success, he obtained 1,259 votes. 2021 Peruvian General Election
General elections were held in Peru on 11 April 2021. The presidential election, which determined the president and the vice presidents, required a run-off between the two top candidates, which was held on 6 June. The congressional elections determined the composition of the Congress of Peru, with all 130 seats contested. Pedro Castillo, a member of the left-wing Free Peru party, received the most votes in the first round. In the second round he faced Keiko Fujimori, the leader of the right-wing populist Popular Force who had previously lost the run-offs of the 2011 and the 2016 elections. Decentralization Coalition
Concertación Descentralista was a Peruvian electoral coalition established to contend in the 2006 national election. It comprises two national-level parties: the Partido por la Democracia Social - Compromiso Perú (PDS) and the Partido Movimiento Humanista Peruano (PMHP). It was formally announced on 10 December 2005, barely two days after both parties obtained formal recognition by the Jurado Nacional de Elecciones, the election process authority. The PMHP won the regional elections of 2002 for the northern region of Lambayeque. The PDS made its electoral debut from within the coalition. 2006 Peruvian General Election
General elections were held in Peru in on 9 April 2006 to elect the President, two Vice-Presidents, 120 members of Congress and five members of the Andean Parliament for the 2006–2011 period. As no presidential candidate received a majority of the vote, a second round was held on 4 June between the top two candidates, Ollanta Humala and Alan García.
