Santo Domingo Petapa is a town and Municipalities of Oaxaca, municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. Geography The municipality covers an area of 232.2 km², at an average altitude of 250 meters above sea level, and is part of the Juchitán District of the Istmo de Tehuantepec region. The climate is hot and humid with summer rains. Flora and fauna Flora include mahogany, cedar, oak, pine, pine, and Nopo guanacaste, deer, pochote, chiviveta, beo, mamey, taro and cassava. The Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD, es, Partido de la Revolución Democrática, ) is a social democratic political party in Mexico. The PRD originated from the Democratic Current, a political faction formed in 1986 from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
