Robertas Giedraitis
Robertas Giedraitis (born August 29, 1970) is a Lithuanian basketball coach and former player. He was most recently the assistant coach for Šiauliai of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Giedraitis played his whole career with Šiauliai. He is currently the player with the most steals and the most assists made in Lithuanian Basketball League's history. Career Before the 2005 season's start, Giedraitis retired as a player and became the assistant coach in Šiauliai. After 2006–07 season, Giedraitis took over as head coach of Šiauliai. On 8 July 2010, Robertas Giedraitis became the head coach of Juventus Utena. BC Šiauliai
BC Šiauliai () is the professional basketball club of Šiauliai, Lithuania. The club competes in the Lithuanian Basketball League. It has won the 3rd place award (behind Lithuanian basketball giants BC Lietuvos Rytas, Lietuvos Rytas and BC Žalgiris, Žalgiris) in the Lithuanian Basketball League, LKL a record 9 times. History BC Kelininkas (1982–1994) The team was formed in 1984 and participated in the second-tier Lithuanian league. Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL; ), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional club basketball league in Lithuania. It is composed of 10 teams, and it is a member of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation. The best LKL clubs are also annual participants of the top European-wide basketball competitions, including the top-tier level EuroLeague. On April 22, 1993, the Lietuvos krepšinio asociacija (LKA; ) was founded. It was the first professional sports organisation in Lithuania. Lietuvos krepšinio lyga was built on the foundation of the LKA. Former basketball player Šarūnas Marčiulionis is named as the founder of the league. Rokas Giedraitis (born August 16, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for KK Crvena zvezda, Crvena zvezda of the Serbian Basketball League of Serbia, KLS, the ABA League and the EuroLeague. He primarily plays at the small forward position. Professional career In 2013, Giedraitis was named Most Valuable Player, Finals MVP of the National Basketball League (Lithuania), NKL after scoring 26 points and leading his team to title.
