Robert Wrenn (golfer)
Robert Brenaman Wrenn Jr. (born September 11, 1959) is an American sportscaster and golf course design consultant; he is a former professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Wrenn was born in Richmond, Virginia. He attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and was an all-ACC member of the golf team in each of his four years from 1978–1981. He turned pro in 1981. Wrenn played in 308 PGA Tour events between 1982 and 1998 with 15 top-10 finishes including a victory at the 1987 Buick Open. He established the tournament record of 262 (26-under-par), which still stands. In fact, at the time this was only one stroke off the all-time PGA Tour record in a 72-hole tournament. His best finish in a major was T-25 at The Masters in 1988. Toward the end of his playing career, Wrenn played some on the Nationwide Tour. Dan Pohl
Danny Joe Pohl (born April 1, 1955) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. He won two PGA Tour tournaments (the 1986 Colonial in a 1-hole playoff win against Payne Stewart and the 1986 World Series of Golf at Firestone Country Club) by 1 stroke over Lanny Wadkins and tied Craig Stadler for first place in the 1982 Masters Tournament before losing in a playoff. Pohl competed for his country as a member of the 1987 Ryder Cup team at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Amateur career Born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Pohl attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, and played for the Wildcats' golf team. He was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1985. The Open Championship
The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. PGA Championship
The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. The Indonesia Open is the national open golf championship of Indonesia, and traditionally held in the capital, Jakarta. History The Indonesia Open was founded in 1974 as an event on the Asia Golf Circuit. It remained on the circuit until the end of the 1996 season, after which it joined the rival Asian PGA's Omega Tour for the 1997 season. Having not been held between 1998 and 2004, the Indonesian Open returned in 2005 as a co-sanctioned event on both the Asian Tour and the European Tour.
