Robert Turner (basketball)
Robert Eugene Turner III (born April 8, 1993) is an American basketball player for Zastal Zielona Góra in the Polish Basketball League (PLK). He played college basketball for New Mexico Junior College and Texas Tech University before going on to play professionally in Asia and Europe. In 2017, he won the Mongolian National Basketball Association, Mongolian Superleague with Arhangai Altan, while also being named MVP, and in 2022 he won the Icelandic Men's Basketball Cup, Icelandic Cup with Stjarnan men's basketball, Stjarnan. College career Turner played for Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball, Texas Tech from 2013 to 2015, starting 61 of his 64 games and averaging 8.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. Professional career Turner joined Stjarnan men's basketball, Stjarnan of the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla (basketball), Úrvalsdeild karla in 2021, and led the team in scoring an assists with 23.3 points and 5.2 assists per game. Polish Basketball League
Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League), officially known as the Orlen Basket Liga due to its sponsorship by Orlen, is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA (the Polish Basketball League Joint-stock company) took control over the league (the PLK SA was created in 1995).
