Robert Rodriguez is an American politician from the state of Colorado. A Democrat, Rodriguez was elected to the 32nd district of the Colorado Senate in 2018 after winning a majority of the vote. He currently serves as a member of the Senate Committee on Legal Service, Judiciary Committee, Legislative Audit Committee, and is Chair of the Business, Labor, and Technology Committee. Colorado's 32nd Senate district is one of 35 districts in the Colorado Senate. It has been represented by Democrat Robert Rodriguez since 2019, succeeding fellow Democrat Irene Aguilar. Geography District 32 covers southern and southwestern Denver. Her district encompassed part of the city of Denver, Colorado. Personal life and education Born in Chicago, Illinois, Aguilar completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She received a medical degree from University of Chicago- Pritzker School of Medicine.
