Robert Rochell
Robert Rochell (born April 26, 1998) is an American football cornerback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Central Arkansas before being selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Rochell grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and attended Fair Park Medical Careers Magnet High School, where he played football and ran track. He played multiple positions at Fair Park, including quarterback, running back, wide receiver, free safety, cornerback and outside linebacker. College career Rochell was a member of the Central Arkansas Bears for five seasons, redshirting his true freshman year. He became a full time starter as a redshirt sophomore. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns.
