Robert Menzies (born 4 November 1955) is an Australian actor, who is best known for starring in '' Three Dollars''. Menzies was nominated as Best Lead Actor in Television Drama in the 2009 AFI Awards for Television for his acting in the ABC TV production of '' 3 Acts of Murder''. ''Three Dollars'' is a 2005 Australian film directed by Robert Connolly and starring David Wenham, Sarah Wynter, and Frances O'Connor. It was based on a 1998 novel of the same name by Elliot Perlman. It won the 2005 Australian Film Institute Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Plot The film and book tell the story of Eddie (David Wenham), a principled man with a seemingly stable and happy life. Sydney Theatre Company (STC) is an Australian theatre company based in Sydney, New South Wales. The company performs in the Wharf Theatre at Dawes Point in The Rocks area of Sydney as well as the Roslyn Packer Theatre (formerly Sydney Theatre) and the Sydney Opera House Drama Theatre.
