Robert Meeuwsen (born 21 March 1988 in Nieuwegein) is a Dutch male beach volleyball player. He is the 2013 World Champion alongside his teammate Alexander Brouwer. Nieuwegein () is a municipality and city in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is bordered on the north by the city of Utrecht, the provincial capital. Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two to four players each on a sand court divided by a net. Similar to indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court.
