Robert Hicks (British Politician)
Sir Robert Adrian Hicks (born 18 January 1938) is a former Conservative Party politician in the United Kingdom. Hicks unsuccessfully contested Aberavon in 1966. He was member of parliament for Bodmin from 1970 to February 1974 (when the seat was temporarily gained by the Liberals) and from October 1974 to 1983. After boundary changes, he was MP for South East Cornwall South East Cornwall is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2024 by Anna Gelderd, a Labour politician. Colin Breed
Colin Edward Breed (4 May 1947 – 9 May 2024) was a British Liberal Democrat politician. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for South East Cornwall from 1997 until he stood down at the 2010 general election. He was also member of the parliamentary party's Treasury team. Early life Breed was born in north-east Surrey on 4 May 1947, the son of a chef. He was educated at Torquay Boys' Grammar School. Breed was appointed an area manager with the Midland Bank in 1964. After 17 years with the bank, he became the managing director of Rowan Dartington & Co Ltd in 1981, before becoming a director with Gemini Abrasives in 1992 until his election to Westminster.
