Robert H. T. Smith
Robert Henry Tufrey Smith (born May 22, 1935) is an Australian-Canadian academic who was the president pro tempore of the University of British Columbia in 1985. A professor of geography, Smith was educated at Australian National University, the University of New England and Northwestern University. In 1964, he was a Guggenheim Fellow. Knud George Pedersen, (born June 13, 1931) is a Canadian academic administrator. He was the president of Simon Fraser University (1979 to 1983), University of British Columbia (1983 to 1985), University of Western Ontario (1985 to 1994), interim president of the University of Northern British Columbia, and founding president of Royal Roads University (1995-1996). David William Strangway, (7 June 1934 – 13 December 2016) was a Canadian geophysicist and university administrator. Strangway was the founder, first President and first Chancellor of Quest University Canada, a private non-profit liberal arts and sciences university in Squamish, British Columbia which opened in September 2007. Walcha () is a town at the south-eastern edge of the Northern Tablelands, New South Wales, Australia. The town serves as the seat of Walcha Shire. Walcha is located by road from Sydney at the intersection of the Oxley Highway and Thunderbolts Way.
