Robert Eriksson (politician)
Robert Eriksson (born 23 April 1974) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party (Norway), Progress Party. He served as Ministry of Labour (Norway), Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion in Solberg's Cabinet from 2013 to 2015. He was elected to the Stortinget, Norwegian Parliament from Nord-Trøndelag (Storting constituency), Nord-Trøndelag in 2005. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. Eriksson held various positions in the Municipal council (Norway), municipal council of Verdal Municipality from 1991 to 2005. From 1995 to 2005 he was also a member of The Nord-Trøndelag county council. Early life and education Eriksson was born on 23 April 1974 in Levanger Municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county. Robert Eriksson (speedway Rider)
Robert Karl Eriksson (born 23 February 1974) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. Career Eriksson started his career riding for Buddys during the 1991 Swedish speedway season but switched to Valsarna the following year and would spend five seasons with them. During the 1995 Swedish speedway season he became the Swedish U21 Champion. His first British league experience came during the 1995 Premier League speedway season, when he rode for Edinburgh Monarchs. He spent three seasons with the Scottish club (one of them when the team was renamed the Scottish Monarchs). He rode for Indianerna from 1997 to 2001 and had a season riding for Belle Vue Aces and Newcastle Diamonds Newcastle Diamonds were a motorcycle speedway team that raced in the British speedway leagues from 1929 to 2022. Robert Eriksson or simply Robban as he is often called, is best known as the drummer of Swedish rock band The Hellacopters, who were active between 1994 and 2008. Eriksson is currently playing With his new band called Tramp and recently reunited Swedish punk band Strindbergs. Biography Early life and career Eriksson was born in Eskilstuna and moved a few years later to Edsbyn. He got his first drumkit at the age of 13 but didn't get a hi-hat or a cymbal until the next year when he had saved up enough money. Eriksson soon started discovering bands and artists such as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Hep Stars and The Spotnicks. Later he discovered bands such as Iron Maiden, Kiss and Saxon through a relative who worked at a Swedish booking agency. Soon Eriksson started playing drums in various punk, rock and metal bands and got to know Nicke Andersson the drummer of heavy metal band Entombed.
