Robbie Cotter
Robbie Cotter (born 2001) is an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer. At club level he plays with Blackrock and St Michael's and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Career Cotter first played hurling at juvenile and underage levels with the Blackrock club. He later played as a schoolboy with Christian Brothers College in the Harty Cup before attending University College Cork (UCC). Cotter was part of the UCC team that won the Canon O'Brien Cup in 2024. After progressing from the underage grades, Cotter first played at adult club level with the Blackrock intermediate team in 2019. He won a Cork IHC medal that year before later being promoted to the club's senior team. Cotter was part of the Blackrock team that beat Glen Rovers to win the Cork PSHC title in 2020. Blackrock GAA
Blackrock National Hurling Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club located on the southside of Cork City, Ireland. The club was founded in 1883 and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. No other Cork-based GAA club has won more Senior County Hurling titles or All-Ireland Club Championships. The club is sometimes known as 'The Rockies'. History Blackrock Hurling Club was officially founded in 1883, one year before the foundation of the Gaelic Athletic Association itself. It is therefore the oldest hurling club in Cork. City Junior A Football Championship
The City Junior A Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the EBO Home Rescue City Junior A Football Championship) is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Seandún Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1926 for junior Gaelic football teams in Cork, Ireland. The series of games begin in May, with the championship culminating with the final in the autumn. The championship has always been run as a knock-out competition with no second chance for beaten teams. The City Junior Championship is an integral part of the wider Cork Junior Football Championship. The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The 2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the third staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 58th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship began on 29 June 2021 and ended on 18 August 2021. The 2021 championship was the first to begin before the previous year's championship had concluded. The 2020 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 57th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades.
