Rob Graves (Rob Ritter)
Rob Graves (1955 – June 28, 1990), also known as Rob Ritter, was an American guitarist and bassist, born in Detroit, Michigan. Graves was known for his work in the 1970s and 1980s punk rock, punk scene in Los Angeles, performing with Bags (Los Angeles band), Bags, the Gun Club, 45 Grave, Thelonious Monster and the Loafin' Hyenas. Prior to relocating to LA in February 1978, Graves had played in Phoenix punk band the Exterminators. Graves died in 1990 from a heroin overdose. Graves' death had a profound impact on the punk rock community, prompting Courtney Love to dedicate Hole (band), Hole's ''Pretty on the Inside'' to him. A 1990 memorial concert was held for Graves at the Roxy Theatre (West Hollywood), Roxy in West Hollywood, featuring three of the bands he had performed in. Robin Eaglestone
Robin Mark Eaglestone (born 1976) is an English musician. Biography He was the bassist for the extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. Also known as Robin Graves, he joined Cradle of Filth in 1992 as 2nd guitarist for the recording of the ''Invoking the Unclean'' demo then later changed to bass for the ''Total Fucking Darkness'' demo. He was with the band until 2002. Eaglestone is currently, working on his own project, Imperial Black. He has also previously played with Criminal, Belphegor (band), Belphegor, Abgott (band), Abgott, Grimfist (band), Grimfist, and December Moon. During Cradle of Filth's tenure, each member's position in the band is described in a different manner (e.g. Vocals into "Dark Immortal Screams" or "Lycanthroat"). Courtney Michelle Love (née Harrison; born July 9, 1964) is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and actress. A figure in the alternative and grunge scenes of the 1990s, Love has had a career spanning four decades. She rose to prominence as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band Hole, which she formed in 1989. ''Stormy Weather'' is the third album by the American band Thelonious Monster, released in 1989. The CD version included their previous album, '' Next Saturday Afternoon''. The band supported the album by touring with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fishbone. "So What If I Did" was a minor modern rock hit. Production The album was produced by John Doe. "For My Lover" is a cover of the Tracy Chapman song; "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean" is a cover of the Blind Lemon Jefferson song. Many of the songs are about accepting personal responsibility. Edward Colver did the photography for ''Stormy Weather''. "Sammy Hagar Weekend" is about teenage troublemakers in Anaheim; it was added to album when the band realized they had too many serious songs. ''Miami'' is the second studio album by American rock band the Gun Club, released in 1982. It was released on Animal Records, founded by guitarist Chris Stein of Blondie, who also produced the album. Debbie Harry, also of Blondie, appears as a backing singer on various tracks on the album under the pseudonym "D.H. Laurence Jr." The album front cover photograph does not include bassist Rob Ritter who had already left the band. Before leaving, Ritter first taught all the bass-lines to Patricia Morrison, his replacement in the Gun Club and former bandmate in the Bags. ''Fire of Love'' is the debut album of the American rock band the Gun Club, released in 1981 on Ruby Records. Reviews have been highly positive, citing strong songwriting and performances which fused punk rock with blues music. Production Chris D., singer for the Flesh Eaters, produced five tracks on the album ("Sex Beat", "Preaching the Blues", "Fire Spirit", "Ghost on the Highway" and "Jack on Fire") at Quad Teck with Pat Burnette engineering. The Gun Club
The Gun Club were an American post-punk band from Los Angeles that existed from 1979 to 1996. Created and led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jeffrey Lee Pierce, they were notable as one of the first bands in the punk rock subculture to incorporate influences from blues, rockabilly, and country music.
